"Nothing say's hipster casual like ROD STUART LOVES THE HAMPTONS"

Photobucket The following article was sent into us today and featured in todays controversial installment of curbed.com Don't say we didn't warn you: American Apparel is seeping into every nook and cranny of this city like some kind of toxic lycra cloud. First we mapped out a total of 19 locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and now we spotted their 20th sneaking up on Chinatown at Broadway and Howard. AA knows exactly what they are doing with this location; it's 4,400 square feet of tourist love sandwiched between Opening Ceremony on Howard and the new, poised-to-open Nike Sportswear Flagship on Mercer. On the other hand, I'm sure they didn't foresee the humorously lewd graffiti decorating their massive ads on Howard. After all, nothing says hipster casual like "Rod Stuart Loves the Hamptons." -Monday, August 11, 2008, by Cynthia Drescher racked.com/archives/2008/08/11/storecasting_american_apparel_hits_20.php?o=2 PhotobucketPhotobucketEssG
